Gale Straub founded the media platform She Explores in 2014 as a way to highlight and elevate the stories of adventurous women. Her coverage sought to get to the heart of these women, their passion(s), and often the creative work they produced. What started as a website, grew into a podcast, and an international community interacting on social media and in person. After having highlighted the stories of hundreds of women over the last 4+ years, Straub launched her first book a few weeks back, She Explores: Stories of Life-Changing Adventures on the Road and in the Wild. Straub uses the skills honed in her previous work to dive deep into the stories of 40 different women from all backgrounds and walks of life. UBCO delivers the goods with their 2×2 scooter using front and rear hub engines, knobby tires, 30mph top speed, and 75 miles of range. UBCO also decked it out with accessory lugs so you can easily customize it to your use case or the adventure at hand. Their custom developed luggage and accessories would be a great place to start. Street legal and trail ready it’s begging to be a summer addition to the fleet. The price tag is a bit high at $7,000, but that’s the reality of EV vehicles…for now.

Land Rover Defender 110’s are undeniably awesome. Take one of the original 110’s to roll off the production line, strip it down, and hire artist Vasco Costa to paint the frame as if a canvas and you’ve got mobile art.
