]]> We are really digging the modern wilderness designs by Russian designer, Alex Nerovnya. The York house is made of glass, steel and CLT. This highly sought after structure is 200 sq ft sitting on the edge of the forest. You can see how Alex used simple geometry shapes in an unique way. There are multi-level terraces for accommodating your need to soak up nature. The building is a three story block with four separate bedrooms, each one having its own bathroom. The amount of glass that he used on this structure is stunning leaving you with gorgeous views of the surrounding landscape.

]]> Helsinki Born designer, Robin Falck was inspired to build his own minimalist cabin. His design of the Nido (Italian for ‘birds nest’) cabin is simple and sustainable. Using local/recycled materials, he built it by himself. In 2 weeks he was able to build this cabin which inspires us here at Vanish to get out and build that dream getaway.
Natural light is optimized by utilizing the angle and the size of the window. Also, the window allows a him to view the surrounding forest as well as enjoy the night sky.  The first floor has a lounge area with a micro-kitchen. The 2nd story loft is for sleeping and storage.
