Is that an e-bike? Nope, it’s too fast. Is it a Mo-ped? Nope, it has no pedals. It’s a NO-PED! That’s what the German company Sol Motors refers to it as. This is a new category of electric two-wheelers. The Pocket Rocket is designed and engineered in Germany which obviously gives it a lot of clout. The modern design is also a functional riding experience and brings in technology for connectivity to their app for sharing and fleet management integration. It’s lightweight aluminum construction weighs in at 120 pounds and can take you up to 35 mph. On a single charge you can ride this from 30-50 miles. This vehicle is perfect daily travel and sturdy enough for when times on the road get a little rough, which is very relevant right now.

UBCO delivers the goods with their 2×2 scooter using front and rear hub engines, knobby tires, 30mph top speed, and 75 miles of range. UBCO also decked it out with accessory lugs so you can easily customize it to your use case or the adventure at hand. Their custom developed luggage and accessories would be a great place to start. Street legal and trail ready it’s begging to be a summer addition to the fleet. The price tag is a bit high at $7,000, but that’s the reality of EV vehicles…for now.

We here at Vanish love electric vehicles and motorcycles. The Alta 2019 Redshift EXR is an electric dirt bike that is on our wish list.

It is the ideal multi-terrain motorcycle. It has street legal capabilities so you can rip around the city while on the way out to the real dirt. For you novice riders it is impossible to stall and is incredibly sure-footed. It’s 50 horsepower with 42 LB-FT torque give it enough power to take you where you want to go. The battery can recharge in 1.5 hours and the overall weight of the bike is 273 LBS. If you want to take this home you’ll need to fork over $12,495.
