The Ultimate Remote Getaway Africa’s Shipwreck Lodge

Located in the famous Skeleton Coast concession between the Hoarusib and Hoanib rivers in the Skeleton Coast National Park, Shipwreck Lodge is only 45 km from Möwe Bay. The shipwreck-shaped chalets are nestled between the dunes with a view of the Atlantic Ocean where the cold Benguela current provides guests with a refreshing breeze. The Shipwreck Lodge was manufactured to “resemble the crashed vessels that line the shore.” The space features ten spots for tourists, including eight “twin or double rooms” “two family tents.” Everything is solarpowered, and the Lodge also offers a restaurant, lounge, “game drives” with desert lions and elephants, off-road trips to the Clay Castles and more.

You can take a look at the Shipwreck Lodge above, and head on over to Natural Selection’s official website for more information.
