When you think of an electric car a Toyota Prius or Tesla most likely come to mind – not exactly the best car for say, an off-roading trip. Luckily for us adventure seekers, the Irvine, CA-based company, Rivian, is currently developing the world’s first fully electric truck and SUV. Some of our favorite features include a range of over 400 miles in a single charge, 0-60mph in 3 seconds, and a towing capacity of up to 5,000lbs. The vehicles are currently available for pre-order on their website and can also be viewed at the ISPO tradeshow in Munich this summer.
