The LS3 All Terrain Robot by Boston Dynamics is designed to carry heavy loads of equipment across long distances. As of right now it is only accessible and used by the military, but wouldn’t this be a great innovation for civilians to use? It is easy to imagine a future with these robotic sherpas used for emergency situations, such as search and rescue or forest fires.
