Nike ACG has been around for decades in numerous iterations. Of late, Nike has used the brand as a proving grounds pushing the edge of what you’d normally expect from the brand. While Nike has more normal ACG products, the items they’ve been releasing under NikeLab have caught our eye in a big way. With the temps plummeting and snow in the forecast for the NorthEast, their ACG GORE-TEX Jacket is on point. Channeling the quintessential US Military M-51 Fishtail parka, NikeLab has made smart updates on the classic. Functional updates included using GORE’s 3 Layer water proof fabric and sealed seems, two way zippers, interior shoulder straps to shed the jacket when the cold and rain lets up, and a detachable hood. Aesthetically additions like a wrapping neck gaiter and pops of neon green as well as reflective detailing make it clear the NikeLab ACG GORE-TEX Jacket isn’t some vintage score.
