As we continue our Overlander Spotlight series, we’re thrilled to introduce you to one of our favorite little rigs known simply as Radventure4.
Who are you and what do you do by day?
I am Isaac Van Essen, marketing professional and content creator by day.
What was your vehicle born as? Year, make, model? How long have you had it?
Our vehicle was born as a 2019 Toyota RAV4 Adventure. We have had a little over year now. Man time flies!
Can you tell us about your three favorite mods or features?
Three favorite mods, that’s tough. I’d have to go with our Firestone Destination A/T2 tires ($141), Prinsu Design Roof Rack ($749), and LP Adventure Lift Kit ($899).
What’s been your favorite trip/destination with your rig so far?
We have put on over 30,000 miles already on this little Rav4. Our favorite trip so far has got to be our trek from Colorado to Florida. It was my wife, my pup and myself. We hit several different states, tons of really neat off-road trails, met up with a bunch of our team and ended at an event we were hosting down in Florida. Such a blast!
Where to next? What’s your dream expedition?
Next? Man, that is hard to say. Definitely more work on the Rav4, more trips to the mountains and planning the first ever RAV4 meet up, called RavRally, so I’d have to say that’s next! It’s simple, but we really want to take a road trip west, from Colorado to the California Redwoods and up the coast through Oregon, through Yellowstone and back to Colorado.
