Climb 14 peaks in 7 months. That’s the extraordinary goal of Nirmal Purja (“Nims”), a UK Special Forces operator who just left the military to pursue his mountaineering dreams. Nims started 14/7 Project Possible to not only raise awareness for his climb, but also to raise funds for Nepalese children in need.
There are only 14 mountains on earth higher than 8,000m – considered the ‘death zone’ – and they are all located in the Himalayas. The current world record for one individual climbing all 14 peaks is 7 years, 11 months and 14 days. Nims will do this in just 7 months!
