The adidas TERREX is Back with Upcycled Parley Ocean Plastic® Yarn

We’ve been fans of the adidas TERREX for a long time. It is one of our favorite shoes for seamlessly transitioning from urban to outdoor landscapes and the newest release is an exciting addition to that history.

The first adidas hiking shoe equipped with their signature BOOST™ technology, the new Free Hiker features Parley Ocean Plastic® yarn: a material made from upcycled plastic collected from shorelines and coastal areas. Its water repellent PRIMEKNIT upper, made from that same material, provides sock-like comfort, stretching and flexing naturally to fit everyone comfortably. Weighing only 400g (men’s) and 340g (women’s), it is breathable and lightweight, while protection is provided by a mid-cut profile and Continental rubber outsole for grip on any terrain.
