For the design of the MYSHELTER COLD.RDY Parka, one of the new signature pieces in their Winter 2020 collection, adidas Outdoor went to a perhaps unusual inspiration for outerwear and tapped NYC photographer Brock Fetch.
Fetch is known for his candid and portrait style photography, capturing the likes of A$AP Mob, Action Bronson, Tyler The Creator, the late Mac Miller, and many more. The jacket thus brings his sense of street style along with tech designed for the urban commuter and also capable of transitioning into outdoor environments.
The unisex Parka arrives with insulating technologies of enlarged baffling and overlapping sections of HyperDRY™ Goose Down that to keep warmth in and the cold out. An insulated hood and fitted elasticated cuffs boost overall heat retention, while a variety of thoughtfully placed pockets ensure waterproof storage for technical gear and personal items. Carry straps sewn into the jacket’s interior allow for easy ventilation when transitioning between city and subway temperatures, and enlarged zipper tabs make for easy handling by frigid hands or gloves.
Unique to the release and providing extra protection is a custom reversible, weatherproof vest featuring three original photos captured by Fetch.
The Brock Fetch MYSHELTER COLD.RDY Parka is now available through adidas.
